Hiromi Usagi!

I am going to have a big change in my life, meaning moving! I don’t know my final destination yet though. Lately, I have been thinking about how to keep in touch with my friends. Of course, I want to keep in touch all of my friends, but I am not good at it. However, this blog would be a great idea for both me and my friends. I should tell my friends about this. exciting!

Now Harper and I am waiting for Valentina to watch the latest movie of Won Kar Wai, 2046. I have seen it at Marcia’s and loved it! great casting and music and more. I saw Eros the other day. Won Kar Wai’s short film, Hand, was a part of Eros Gong Li was amazing, I thought, and it seems to belong to 2046–prostitute’s pure love–. I wonder what other people think about Eros and 2046.

Probably, you all know what I have been struggling recently. PhD stuff. I got accepted to the phD program in art history at UC Irvine, but the school can’t give me money. I have to defer it unless some miracle happens. I was very very, I mean very sad and disappointed. I even cried. But I feel okay now. Going back home doesn’t seem too bad, and I haven’t given up on my phD. I started looking for a job in Japan and found a few interesting stuff: museum jobs, teaching jobs. You guys should visit me! Japan is fun. There are a lot of yummy food and nice and sweet people. It is worth it!

I feel a little weird about writing my private stuff in public space, but I think it is going to be good for me. I already like it! Tell me what you think about my blog.
